Serapio and Rufina - Heart of the company
Serapio and Rufina are the parents of the Huamani family. They went to the land of Bonanza in 1980. Now both of them are working as managers of the Ecological Reserve Bonanza. Whilst visiting Bonanza Ecological Reserve, you will get the chance to meet them in the lodge. Parents and children work together so you can have a memorable experience in the jungle.

Ryse has lived and worked in the jungle his entire life. He studied as an official tourism guide in the Instituto Superior Tecnologico Publico Manu from 1998 - 2000.
Bonanza Tours Peru was born in institute classrooms in 2000 as part of various subjects studied in the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Tourism – ISTPM. After much research work, courses related to the tourism and business administration sector, the knowledge gained propelled him to explore and bring to manifestation his experiences, giving origin to this beautiful project called: Bonanza Tours Peru.
In 2001 he realized that there were no agencies offering tours to the jungle where you could experience the jungle closely by doing camping and trekking expeditions deep into the jungle. This is the reason he decided to start his own family agency offering unique, authentic tours and expeditions to the jungle. His parents own around 12,500 hectares of pristine jungle in the Cultural Zone of Manu. This area is know as Bonanza Ecological Reserve and this is where in 2004 Ryse and his family built the beautiful lodges and trails.
Working as a guide for more than 16 years, he has extensive knowledge of the jungle and its flora and fauna. He is a licensed guide for the Manu National Park - Reserve Zone. He speaks very good English, Spanish, Quechua and Dutch.

William has lived and worked in the jungle his entire life. He studied as an official tourist guide in the Instituto Superior Tecnologico Publico Manu from 1999 to 2001. Since then he has been working as a guide for different agencies in Cusco. This experience means that William has extensive knowledge of the jungle and its flora and fauna, as well as being aware of all the safety issues that go with living and trekking in the jungle.
William speaks very good English and some words in Danish. His passion is bird watching, so he always carries his big spotting scope for close observations of his favorite birds. He also likes chasing caimans. He is a licensed guide for the Manu National Park Reserve Zone.

Boris has lived and worked in the jungle his entire life. He studied as an official tourist guide in the Instituto Superior Tecnologico Publico Manu from 2001 to 2003. He speaks very good English. Since studying he has been working as a guide for different agencies. Living and working in the jungle all his life means that he has an extensive knowledge of the jungle, especially plants.
The animal he admires most are jaguar because it is the most elegant animal in the amazonian rainforest and can cover up to 40km in one night chasing its prey.
Boris is a passionate guide due to the love he has for sharing his knowledge of the jungle with tourists from all over the world. He is a licensed guide for the Manu National Park Reserve Zone.

Lourdes lived in the jungle her entire life as well working there for several years. She studied as an official tourist guide in the Instituto Superior Tecnologico Publico Manu from 2000 to 2003 to be able to work in the family business with her older brothers. She speaks good English and now she is in charge of the office.
Lourdes is proud to be working for the family business due to her passion for the jungle and family background. She does her very best to promote ecotourism in order to preserve Bonanza Ecological Reserve. She can explain tours from her own guiding experience, which makes her very credible. She also is a licensed guide for the Manu National Park Reserve Zone.
Lourdes likes meeting people from all over the world and she can also help you arrange other tours in and around Cusco.
Alex Curi. – 45 Apurimac

Alex was born on April 27, 1984, and grew up in the Manu National Park. As a child, he and his family used the abundant resources around them to live and prosper in the jungle, embracing the nature around them, and learning how to navigate through the challenges as well.
He went to secondary school in a community called Shintuya, a community made up mostly of people native to the Manu National Park. Later, he moved to Cusco where he studied Tourism at the American Technical Institute. As a jungle specialist, Alex is very knowledgeable about plants, animals, and insects of Manu.
His lifelong experience has also given him a keen insight into the delicate way in which many species can thrive together in the jungle. He is particularly passionate about the thousands of species of birds in Peru, always on the lookout for different species, and studying their particularities in his down time. His goal is to help conserve and preserve the jungle, and he is passionate about sharing and teaching people about the nature and world within the Manu National Park.

Alex Sandro Qquehuarucho born December 2, 1989 , was born and raised his entire life in the North of the Manu jungle, as a child he and his family used the natural resources provided by the jungle to survive.
He studied primary and secondary school in the same place,where he lived. When he finished secondary, he moved to the city of Cusco to prepare for something better in life and study to be a tour guide at the Technological Institute Antonio Lorena . He participated in many projects and investigations as " Manu bird proyed " 2011, " wildlife forever " 2012 .
As a guide he is very passionate about the forest in general and specializes in birds and frogs. He is greatly knowledgeable about plants , insects and mammals ,
His aim is to help conserve and preserve the forest, and he is also passionate about teaching people about nature and the world within the Manu National Park.

Darwin was born on august 16th 1994 and grew up in the Manu National Park. He and his family used the abundant resources around them to live and prosper in the jungle. Embracing the nature around them, and learning how to navigate through the challenges as well.
He went to a primary school in a small town called Espinar, and for secondary school he studied in a small village colled Salvacion. Later, he moved to Cusco where he studied Tourism at the Antonio Lorena Technical Institute. As a jungle specialist, Jordy is very knowledgeable about plants, animals, and insects of Manu.
